Catalytic Hydrogen Generation for Fuel Cell Applications I

Catalytic fuel reforming to produce hydrogen is presently considered as the most viable way to supply hydrogen to low-temperature fuel cells under development for residential, transportation, and portable applications. In this session, we invite submission of papers describing novel catalysts for fuel reforming, and catalysts for the water-gas shift reaction that combine high activity with durability; sulfur-tolerant catalyst formulations, catalysts for the selective CO oxidation reaction; creative reactor designs, including catalytic membrane reactors, and other relevant research topics. Fundamental catalysis issues, as well as new reactor designs, reactor modeling, and technology developments are of interest to this session.
