Processing of Nanocomposites

Thursday, November 11, 2010: 12:30 PM
Grand Ballroom G (Salt Palace Convention Center)

Description:
This session invites talks about processing methods of nanocomposites. The processing method is critical for formation of nanocomposites. Typical methods include in situ polymerization, melt compounding, and solution casting. New developments are encouraged to present here about the role of processing parameters and characteristics in influencing morphology and properties of nanocomposites. Untypical processing methods such as supercritical CO2, UV/vis, and plasma treatment are welcome as well. There is no limitation about the type of nanocomposites.
