Receptor-Mediated Phenomena

Monday, November 8, 2010: 8:30 AM
255 B Room (Salt Palace Convention Center)

Description:
Cells sense and respond to their environment via receptor-mediated phenomena. In this session, we encourage talks that highlight spatial and dynamic aspects of receptor events, including the interplay between receptor trafficking and intracellular signaling, the coupling of mechanical stresses with cell signaling, receptor regulation, receptor-mediated therapeutic strategies, and cross-talk among receptor signaling pathways. Examples that integrate experiments with theory are particularly welcome.
