Biointerfacial Science and Engineering: From the Fundamental to the Applied

This poster will discuss my research into biointerfacial science and engineering. Sum Frequency Generation (SFG) Vibrational Spectroscopy will be highlighted in the context of the adsorption of peptide to model surfaces. The adhesion of bacteria to solids will be discussed in the context of biofilm formation. Lastly, the design of real biomaterials with well defined function will be mentioned.
