Solar - Thermal Processing

Thursday, November 12, 2009: 8:30 AM
Belle Meade A/B (Gaylord Opryland Hotel)

Description:
Papers in this session will be concerned with fundamentals and applications for the use of concentrated sunlight to carry out high temperature thermochemical and thermal processing to produce chemicals and fuels. Chemicals include intermediates such as syngas and bio-oil. Fuels include hydrogen, particularly as produced through solar-thermochemical water splitting cycles. Papers are also solicited for the design of solar-thermal reactors.
