Biobased Materials - II

Monday, November 9, 2009: 12:30 PM
Cheekwood H (Gaylord Opryland Hotel)

Description:
The biobased materials and green technology cover natural fiber composites, bioplastics, green composites from plant derived biofiber and crop derived bioplastics, biobased polymeric blends and green nanocomposites. The value-added biobased materials from byproducts and coproducts of biofuel industries and agricultural residues are of particular interest. The life cycle analysis (LCA) studies of the emerging biobased and greener materials for their potential uses in various manufacturing sectors ranging from green auto-parts, building structures, consumer goods and sustainable packaging are also of interest to this session.
