Lincoln A (Gaylord Opryland Hotel)
Description:
The session encompasses novel theoretical results as well as applications in the areas of model reduction, simulation and control of distributed parameter systems. Specific theoretical topics of interest include, but are not limited to, predictive and fault-tolerant control of linear/nonlinear PDEs, model reduction and control of stochastic PDEs, control of particulate processes based on population balance models, and networked control and monitoring of distributed processes. Applications to advanced materials processing, particulate processes and biological systems are also of interest.
