Biomacromolecules: Formulation and Delivery

Tuesday, November 10, 2009: 3:15 PM
Bayou C (Gaylord Opryland Hotel)

Description:
In this session we encourage contributions dealing with current issues on the formulation and delivery of therapeutic biomacromolecules (peptides, oligonucleotides and proteins). All delivery routes are of interest, including inhalation, oral, i.v., and ocular. Formulation issues include (but are not limited to) particle engineering and device selection. Delivery aspects include (but are not limited to) carrier design and the interaction of therapeutics/carrier at the cellular and intra-cellular (cell organelles) level.
