Industrial Application of Computational and Numerical Approaches to Particle Flow

Wednesday, November 11, 2009: 8:30 AM
Tennessee A (Gaylord Opryland Hotel)

Description:
CFD in fluidization and fluid-particle systems is become more of a use tool in commercial process design, scale up and optimization. This session will focus on the application and development of CFD models for large scale units ranging from the pilot-to commercial- scale with application. All areas of research are welcomed including fermentation, biomass, biofuels, catalytic oxidation, oxychlorination, cokers, gasifiers, risers, cyclones, pneumatic conveying, etc.
