Governor's Chamber E (Gaylord Opryland Hotel)
Description:
Magnetic particles are the workhorse of many diagnostic methods and increasingly contribute to chemical separation technologies. This session welcomes papers on the synthesis, characterization and the physical/chemical behavior of magnetic nanoparticles. A particular focus is given to the use of magnetic particles, commercial applications, interactions with complex fluids and contributions on the mechanism of magnetic separation, agglomeration and filtration.
