Description:
Experimental and/or modeling contributions on reaction engineering for renewables are welcome. Examples include development of kinetic mechanisms, catalysts, and reactor designs for biomass utilization in vapor or liquid phase, hybrid solar/chemical processes, and hybrid separation/reactor systems (e.g., reactive extraction, membrane reactors) for renewables. Contributions on biomass gasification, liquefaction, and reforming for production of chemical and fuels are welcome as is the conversion of biomass derivatives to chemicals or fuels.
