The concept of using end quality as an anchor for design is not new and was certainly not invented by the pharmaceutical field. QbD has existed in other areas and their experience is a valuable lesson. Authors from any other industry (Polymers, Chemicals, Petroleum and Petrochemicals, Food, etc) are invited to sharer their experience in designing a process and establishing envelopes of operations using end quality as the ultimate indicator
