Intellectual property is often the single most valuable assets of a company and it becomes increasingly important in corporate transactions. An effective management of intellectual property assets is affected by changes in the intellectual property laws. To survive and thrive in today's fast-paced and technology-driven business, a forward-looking company needs to proactively manage its IP assets. In this presentation, we will address and discuss various aspects of strategic IP management, and examine the impact of recent changes in the U.S. IP laws to the IP management.
