Solids Suspension of a Mixture of Solids with Two Different Densities in Mechanically Agitated Tanks – Part 1- Low Concentration Effects

Occasionally it is necessary to suspend a mixture of solids of both different particle sizes and different densities. Conservative methods are often satisfactory but when the heavy solids are of very low concentrations then other methods are required to avoid wasting energy.
