Ryman Hall B1/B2 (Gaylord Opryland Hotel)
Aiming at obtain the tetrahydrofuran-propylene oxide copolymer with rich primary hydroxyls, we studied the copolymerization of tetrahydrofuran and propylene oxide under low temperature using boron trifluoride etherate as catalyst. Except catalyst screen and molecular weight controlling, the reaction conditions were also optimized. By means of the addition of ethylene oxide, the content of primary hydroxyl of the product has been raised dramatically.
