#110 - Reflections on Past Contributions and Future Impact of Process Systems Engineering: Special Session in Honor of the 60th Birthday of George Stephanopoulos I (10003)
This special session of the CAST division honors Prof. George Stephanopoulos on his 60th birthday for his many contributions to Process Systems Engineering. As part of the centennial celebration of the AIChE, this special session consists of invited talks that will provide both a historical perspective of Process Systems Engineering as a fundamental core of the Chemical Engineering discipline and current and future challenges on which Process Systems approaches can have considerable impact. The session will cover topics in all aspects of process systems including those related to biotechnology, nanotechnology, energy and sustainability, and environmental technology.
