#299 - Material Parameters for Particle Simulations (03C05)
In recent years, the number of published papers describing granular systems has grown exponentially. However, there has so far been no clearly defined overall strategy for translating macroscopic parameters into model parameters. The session will focus on discussing strategies for mapping macroscopic parameters into model/micro parameters. Theoretical models as well as measurements that explain a parameter mapping strategy will contribute to the goal of making simulations more realistic and predictive for real life problems.
