The process of anaerobic digestion is a mature technology that has the potential to contribute significantly to meeting renewable energy targets through the production of biogas. This presentation will examine the production of biogas from a wide variety of feedstocks and compare biogas production to that of biodiesel and bioethanol from a technoeconomic viewpoint.
