Crystallization from solution is an important separation and purification process in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. The past 40 years has seen great advances in our understanding of the fundamentals of crytallization. This talk with discuss major developments in crystallization research and with emphasis on the contributions of Don Kirwan and Ron Rousseau.
