#404 - Plenary: Frontiers in Renewable Energy (TH000)
Overview: In the long term renewal energy sources will constitute an increasing component of our energy mix. This session will highlight research issues and opportunities in solar (thermal for chemical production (high temperature) and power generation (low temperature), thermoelectrics, photovoltaics), nuclear, wind, geothermal and tidal approaches to energy generation. Given the current important of biomass sources, this approach will be addressed in a companion plenary session. The speakers for this session will be invited only.
