#76 - Interfacial Phenomena in Environmental Systems (01C07)
This session will deal with all aspects of interfacial phenomena that have applications in natural and engineered environmental systems. Examples of possible topics include: absorption of chemical species in gas/liquid systems, adsorption/desorption in gas/solid and solid/liquid systems, colloidal stability and aggregation of aquatic particles, transport and distribution in liquid/liquid systems, transformations of pollutants at interfaces, transformation of interfaces due to the presence of pollutants, and characterization of interfaces.
