#701 - Wood Biorefinery Processes and Products (17004)
This session will report new technologies in the processing of wood to extract products before pulping. Papers dealing with lignin and hemicellulose extraction from wood under different conditions, separation of different products such as sugars, downstream processing to produce bioethanol, bioplastics and such will be considered in this session. This session will also consider advances in thermochemical conversion of biomass residues such as black liquor gasification.
