#528 - Adhesion Receptors of Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic Cells (15D18)
In this session, we focus on the receptors and ligands that mediate eukaryotic and prokaryotic cell adhesion to surfaces. Of particular interest are situations where fluid flow can facilitate detachment and cell transport to the surface, and the interaction between receptor-ligand kinetics and cell-scale mechanics during cell attachment/detachment.
