| #329 - Innovative Modeling and Data Analysis (TD006) | |||
| There is a recent growing realization that the traditional model of a chemical company having a strong corporate process/project engineering organization may not be cost effective. The consequence of these changes has led to organizations increasingly opting for collaborations with external technical resources to achieve development targets in engineering and R&D activities. These collaborations have proven to enrich functional teams and research partners. Contributions are sought in the areas of product and process design, synthesis, simulation, data analysis, optimization, statistical modeling, pilot-plant experimentation and commercialization, with a focus on collaborative arrangements where novel techniques have been conceived or applied. The papers should highlight lessons learned, pros and cons, case studies and guidelines for developing successful collaborations. | |||
