#553 - Optimization and Control of Hybrid Systems (10C13)
The session focuses on contributions in the area of hybrid dynamics and complex hierarchical systems that exhibit continuous dynamic behavior coupled with discrete/logic/event-based dynamics. The session accepts papers that deal with modeling, simulation, analysis, optimization, identification, design and control of hybrid systems, with special emphasis being placed on the impact of the above class of theoretical studies on the practice of process systems engineering and control.
