| #170 - Microdevices in Separations (02G02) | |||
| Miniaturized analytical-scale separation systems offer many advantages over conventional techniques such as rapid analysis, consumption of significantly smaller amounts of samples and reagents, and potential for integration and automation. This session invites papers on application of miniaturized systems in R&D and commercial fields including drug discovery, clinical diagnostics, genomics, proteomics, and homeland security. Topics of interest include miniaturized separation techniques for a wide variety of chemical and biological molecules such as drugs, polymers, proteins and peptides, DNA, and cells. Integrated microdevice concepts are also invited where separation techniques are multiplexed or integrated with other functions such as sample preparation, concentration and reactions. | |||
