#464 - Industrial Ecolgy, LCA, and Sustainability (TE008)
Evaluating the sustainability of processes, products and their interactions through the economy presents challenges to practitioners of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Industrial Ecology (IE). These challenges arise from the normally large scale of these problems and the need for defining the meaning of “sustainable”. Papers of special interest in this session include, but are not limited to, those which make LCA and IE efficient. Those papers which provide quantitative metrics for sustainability in these analyses are especially welcome.
