#102 - Advances in Drug Delivery: Targeted Delivery (15D02)
We invite papers from the broad area of drug and gene delivery, with a focus on targeted or enhanced delivery, rather than controlled release . Recent advances in preparation, in vitro and in vivo characterization of targeted delivery systems, especially with afocus on specific disease models are welcome. Some of the areas of interest include: (1) the use of targeted non-viral and viral vectors for gene delivery; (2) the preparation of targeted conjugates for drug and/or imaging agent delivery; (3) Use of external fields/stimuli to improve targeting; (4) Use of stimuli-sensitive polymers; (5) Approaches for investigating the targeting efficiency in vitro and in vivo. Authors are encouraged to contact the sessions chairs in case of specific questions.
