| #454 - Complex and Networked Systems I (10D04) | |||
| This session will consider theory, simulation, and applications papers on the modeling, dynamics, design, monitoring, and control of complex and networked systems. Examples of problems of interest include the identification of complex metabolic mechanisms from noisy and sparse biological data, bifurcation analysis of the dynamics of particulate processes in which the collective nonlinear dynamics depend critically on the specifics of the interactions between particles, and the design of chemical plants to optimize the performance of fault diagnosis algorithms when the number of measured variables that carry information grow into the thousands and the chemical plant is nonlinear and highly uncertain. Any applications area will be considered, with an emphasis on processes of chemical or biological relevance. | |||
