| #541 - Design of Integrated Chemical and Biological Systems (10A06) | |||
| The session will focus on recent advances and future challenges in the use of systems engineering tools for the design of integrated chemical and biological systems primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. These issues include but are not limited to: bioprocess optimization and design; bioreactor design; high cell density fermentation; cellular processes; high through-put design of chemicals and biomaterials; mechanism-based modeling and analysis of industrial biological processes, bio-separations, and design for drug delivery applications. | |||
