#84 - Solids Handling and Processing (03001)
In solids processes there are many operations that have to be carried out along with the main reactor, fluid bed, crystallizer etc. Having the solids processed and transported in the right fashion and delivered to the end user in a form that is not degraded is essential. Being able to remove large quantities of particles from large storage units with proper controls are also key to a smooth industrial operation. This session will concentrate on all the ancillary operations (conveying, storage, blending & coating) needed to guarantee a steady, reliable process having solids as an integral component.
