12D01 Plant Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: The Chemist and Engineer Working Together
OverviewOften, commercial processes go awry without an obvious cause, resulting in decreased yields or conversion, off spec performance, or diminished throughput due to fouling or other phenomenon. This session is devoted to the chemist and engineer working together on teams to solve plant problems. Case histories, examples, and best practices will be presented.
