Preliminary Program subject to change
TB012 Industrial Energy Efficiency and Its Contributions to Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction
OverviewThis session will focus on current and future methods that can be used by process industries for calculating CO2 emission reductions from energy efficiency measures undertaken by them. The session will focus on efficiency measures on all types of fuels used – gas, electric, oil etc, and will focus on the merits of differing approaches for measuring CO2 emission reductions. The session will also provide methodologies used in Europe for carbon cap and trade scheme, as related to energy efficiency.
