Preliminary Program subject to change
T2007 Ethylene Plant Maintenance & Reliability
OverviewThe impact of maintenance and reliability efforts in Olefin producing plants is becoming ever more critical to safe, environmentally responsible operation and profitability. Escalating feedstock and energy costs combined with increases in material and labor costs make it even more important to optimize energy usage and minimize unplanned failures. This session includes papers that address refractory technology application, using RAM concepts during process synthesis and improved designs for Transfer Line Exchangers (TLEs). Other papers target environmentally responsible methods to test and maintain exchangers, and a study of furnace tube failure mechanisms.
