Meeting Room 370 A & D (George R Brown Convention Center in Houston)

Topical A: 10th Topical Conference on Refinery Processing (TA)

#3 - Advances in Hydroprocessing - I (TA001)
The trend toward heavy feedstocks and tightening fuel regulations are presenting new challenges for hydroprocessing technologies. The production of transportation fuel from bio-sources will also present new challenges in hydroprocessing. Papers covering advances in catalyst and process development in hydroprocessing technology designed to help the refiner meet these challenges are solicited for this symposium. Hydroprocessing applications in heavy oil upgrading, alternative feedstock processing (bio-sources), distillate hydrotreating, FCC feed pre-treating, desulfurization of FCC gasoline are welcome as well as novel technologies that address the current challenges in hydroprocessing. Papers describing commercial experience in the application of new hydroprocessing catalysts and processes are also encouraged.
