T2011 Olefins Energy Management Review
OverviewOlefins production is one of the most energy intensive hydrocarbon processes and energy costs are likely to remain high for the forseable future. Many process modifications have improved efficiency over the years but there is still scope for substantial cost reductions. This review will cover energy management practices, ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs in the olefins industry.
