This article proposed the basic question of laser granulometry of flaky grain---the diffraction of flaky grain. In this article, the relationship between diffraction spectrum of flaky grain and its azimuth is deduced; the diffraction grain size of flaky grain and static projected one is discussed; the expression of the diffraction spectrum of large amount different-orientation flaky grains is given. All the works above are of great meaning to flaky grain measurement technology.
