Topical 2: New Frontiers in Energy Research (T2)

#476 - Gasification and Syngas Refining - II (T2014)
With increasing demand for “clean” energy and concern for energy security, there is a new focus on energy generation all over the world. Chemical Engineers have been and will continue to play a major role in developing new clean energy technologies. This session will focus on coal and biomass gasification, Integrated Gasification and Combined Cycle (IGCC) with and without CO2 sequestration; syngas clean-up and syngas to liquids and chemicals.
