Energy use and efficiency have become critical factors in the pulp and paper industry with the increased costs for fuels. This session will focus on current practices for energy usage and new technologies which focus on improving energy efficiency and economics. New strategies for paper drying, dewatering of paper webs, recovery of energy from black liquor and such processes in the industry will be covered.
