Topical E: Sustainability (TE)

#110 - Sustainable Energy (TE001)
One of the major hurdles to sustainability is identifying and developing sustainable alternative energy sources. This session will discuss various alternate energy technologies such as bio-derived fuels, hydrogen (H2) and electricity from solar, wind, and geothermal energy sources. Central to this discussion is the production processes for hydrogen, methanol, ethanol, and other fuels from resources other than oil, as well as use of these fuels as energy storage and transmission technologies.
