Topical 4: Sustainable Biorefineries (T4)

#471 - Feedstocks and Byproducts: Matching Chemistry to Processes at the Biorefinery Interface (T4009)
Presentations will focus on the interactions of feedstocks and byproducts with biorefinery processes. Emphasis will include advances in the characterization of feedstock and byproduct quality and variability, as well as the relationships between these characteristics and various processing techhnologies including pretreatment, fermentation and separations. This oral session will favor papers demonstrating the sound application of core scientific and engineering principles.
