Polymers (08a)

#263 - Structure and Properties of Polymers II (08A00)
Charged macromolecules are ubiquitous; ranging from photoresists in developers for microelectronics to biological systems. Understanding the structure and properties of these materials are of great technical interest from both a practical and fundamental perspective. This session will encompass topics related to polymer science with the common theme of polyelectrolytes and ionizable polymers. Topics are solicited that pertain to their synthesis, structural characterization, physical properties, solution properties, charge distribution, functionalization and other related areas. Papers presenting experimental results, simulations, and theoretical/modeling are equally welcome.
