This session invites papers that highlight the role of chemical engineers in the area of chemical product design, particularly from process systems engineering viewpoint. Relevant topics include, but not limited to: (1) New chemical engineering techniques for systematic development of formulated products; (2) Models for relating physical properties and product attributes to product performance; (3) Property estimation techniques, especially for performance-related properties; (4) Case studies in product design.
