The export to Excel automatically generates a complete Excel spreadsheet using the notation and equations from the POLYMATH program. The Excel export automatically reformulates all intrinsic functions and logical variables and conditions of the original problem. Solutions utilize Excel functions, tools such as Goal Seek and Add-Ins such as Solver. POLYMATH provides an Add-In called ODE_Solver for solving systems of ordinary differential equations in Excel.
The option for MATLAB generates code that can be integrated into an m-file for the problem. The MATLAB code is autmatically ordered during the code generation. Intrinsic functions and logical variables and conditions of the original problem are automatically translated. Templates for easy creation of working MATLAB m-files for the problem are provided.
General POLYMATH Software Overview
POLYMATH 6.1 Educational is a proven computational system that supports advanced problem solving in chemical engineering. Capabilities include Linear Equations, Nonlinear Equations, Differential Equations, Data Analysis and Regression.
