Implementation of RFID poses numerous challenges that demand rigorous testing in real-world environments. Here we describe the challenges and successes experienced in developing Kimberly–Clark's accredited RFID laboratory. We will discuss some of the experiences around startup and maintenance of the lab, and share learnings around the technology and applications it to processes at Kimberly-Clark to improve current practices.
