It is sometimes not a viable option to conduct plant tests in-house. Reasons for wanting (or needing) to conduct a plant test at an outside facility, i.e. at a contract manufacturer are many, ranging from unavailable capacity to unavailable assets. Conducting a plant test at a contract manufacturer is not unlike conducting a plant test in-house. In this presentation we will compare likenesses and differences in these two options for conducting plant tests.
