Recent developments for the HyS cycle include new information on the performance characteristics of PEM electrolyzers and the availability of a bayonet-type decomposition reactor made out of silicon carbide. Flowsheets incorporating these changes have been prepared and their performance evaluated. The results will be presented and discussed.
