This round table discussion will focus on Smart Manufacturing Plants. Smart Plants prevent problems before they occur. Examples include unplanned shutdowns, environmental emissions, and unwanted safety events. Accurate real time plant data, obtained from critically important sensors and measurements, are the foundation of the Smart Plant. In addition to establishing current plant performance, these data are used in models to PREDICT future plant performance and events so PROACTIVE actions can be taken to PREVENT problems before they occur.
