This paper describes measurements of the di-electric properties and water solubility of mixtures of carbon dioxide and dimethyl ether. Phase equilibria for this system can be modelled satisfactorily using a cubic equation of state with mixing rules according to Wong and Sandler. Models are also described for the dielectric constant and the mixture density.
