From Enzymatic Regeneration of Atp to Novel Biomaterials

Robert Langer, Chemical Engineering and Biological Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA 02142

Early work under the guidance of Clark Colton focused on ways to regenerate adenosine triphosphate using an enzymatic approach. This got me in interested in bioengineering. Later I applied this interest to the area of biomaterials,in particular drug delivery and tissue engineering. Today's talk focuses on these areas of research.
